Peec AI alternatives: 8 tools compared (2026)

Peec AI’s real prices and limits, and where to go when you need more engines, a lower bill, or someone to do the work.
Check your AI visibility

The best Peec AI alternatives in October 2026 are Otterly.ai if you want to pay less, Rankscale or AthenaHQ if you want more engines per plan, Semrush or Ahrefs Brand Radar if you already use those suites, Scrunch or Profound for enterprise needs, and Bottally if you want the articles that win the missing answers written and published for you.

Peec itself is a solid tracker, so the right alternative depends on what you need that Peec’s plan does not include. Every price here was checked on the vendor’s own site in October 2026. We make Bottally, so weigh our section on it accordingly.

Every self-serve plan includes unlimited users and daily tracking, and annual billing saves 15%. The three models come from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Extra models cost extra: one more model is $35 a month on Starter ($30 billed yearly), $85 on Pro and $165 on Advanced, and Perplexity sits in that add-on list rather than among the base choices. Enterprise is custom, adds API access and single sign-on, and tracks up to 13 models including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral and Perplexity. Agencies have separate pricing, and Peec says more than 3,500 brands and agencies use it.

Who Peec AI suits

SEO and content teams that want daily, clean numbers on a known set of prompts. Beyond visibility, position, sentiment and share of voice against competitors, Peec reports which sources AI retrieves, classifies each prompt by intent, scores brand perception and the objections AI raises against you, fact-checks claims about your brand, shows which AI bots crawl which pages, and counts visits that arrive from AI assistants. Its Act section adds gap analysis, ranked recommended actions and agent actions built from your data.

That is a lot of measurement for $95 a month. If you have someone who will read it every week and turn it into pages, Peec is a good tool and you may not need an alternative at all.

Why people look for Peec AI alternatives

Three models at the base price

Every self-serve plan lets you choose three. A fourth model, Perplexity included, is a paid add-on that costs more on bigger plans.

Prompts set the bill

50 prompts on Starter, 150 on Pro, 350 on Advanced. Covering a whole market gets expensive quickly.

A lower entry price

Otterly starts at $29 a month and Rankscale Essentials at $204 a year. AthenaHQ has a free tier.

Someone to do the work

Peec ranks actions from your data. Its pricing page does not list writing articles and publishing them to your site, so the actions wait for whoever has time.

Each alternative against Peec AI

1. Bottally: Measures less, does more

Peec Starter tracks 50 prompts on three models every day, which Peec counts as 4,500 AI answers a month. Bottally checks 30 buyer questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode once a week, roughly 500 answers a month. On measurement alone, Peec gives you far more data.

What Bottally adds is the work. Each week it researches keywords, audits your site, reads what your competitors publish, finds the questions where AI names someone else, writes seven articles and publishes one a day to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify, Wix, Notion, Framer, Next.js or any webhook. The opt-in backlink network trades links with other members, kept even by a credit ledger.

Pro is $99 a month for one site, one article a day, 30 tracked questions, four engines and the backlink network. No Gemini, Copilot or Claude tracking, no Looker Studio, and far less reporting depth than Peec. Pick Bottally if nobody on your team will act on a dashboard; pick Peec if somebody will.

2. Otterly.ai: Under a third of Peec Starter

Otterly’s Lite plan costs $29 a month for 15 prompts tracked daily on four engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. So you get fewer prompts than Peec Starter but one more engine, and Perplexity is included rather than an add-on. Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are add-ons.

Standard is $189 for 100 prompts, Premium $489 for 400, with 15% off yearly and a free trial. Every plan has unlimited team members, citation tracking, sentiment and GEO audits with recommendations. The obvious pick if price is why you are leaving Peec.

3. Rankscale: All the engines, billed in credits

Where Peec has you choose three models per plan, Rankscale lists ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek, Mistral, Grok and more. You pay in credits instead: each AI query uses a fraction of a credit, typically 0.25. Pro is $99 a month for 1,200 credits, up to 4,800 answers, with a 7-day free trial.

Essentials is $204 a year (yearly only), Pro+ $229, Growth $385 and Enterprise $780 a month. Unused credits roll over up to a cap. Good for teams that want breadth and are comfortable budgeting usage.

4. AthenaHQ: Free to start, heavier on action

AthenaHQ’s Essential tier is free with 300 credits a month across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot. One credit is one AI response. Starter is $295 a month for 3,600 credits across 11 models, adding Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral, with unlimited prompts and competitors.

Compared with Peec Pro at $245, Athena Starter costs a little more but covers more models and leans further into action, with a content optimization agent and on-page and off-page recommendations.

5. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: One login with your SEO data

The Base plan is $99 per domain per month, billed annually, for 25 custom prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity, plus AI visibility reports for any domain, prompt research, competitor analysis and an AI-readiness site audit. That is half Peec Starter’s prompt count for about the same monthly price.

The reason to pick it is everything around it: your keywords, backlinks and site audits live in the same account. If you already pay for Semrush, start here.

6. Ahrefs Brand Radar: See the market, not just your prompts

Peec tracks prompts you choose. Brand Radar starts from an index of more than 481 million search-backed prompts run through AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, so you can see any brand’s AI visibility without setup. Ahrefs lists $199 a month per platform or $699 a month for all platforms, including 2,500 custom-prompt checks; paid Ahrefs plans from Lite include five custom prompts.

Strong for competitor research and for brands that already show up in AI answers. A new brand gets more from custom prompts than from the index.

7. Scrunch: Built around how AI reads your site

Scrunch Core is $250 a month for 125 unique prompts and 5,000 responses a month on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot, close to Peec Pro on price and prompts. The difference is the site side: five site audits and one page optimization a month, AI bot traffic, basic content generation and, on Enterprise, its Agent Experience Platform for serving pages to AI agents.

There is a 7-day free trial. Enterprise adds Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, Google AI Mode and Grok, API access and SSO.

8. Profound: If you outgrow Peec Advanced

Profound is the enterprise option. Its Enterprise plan tracks up to nine engines and adds Prompt Volumes, ChatGPT Shopping, AI-sourced traffic analytics, SSO/SAML, SOC 2 and dedicated support, plus AI Marketer agents that research and write content on credits. For brands, the only self-serve option is a free 7-day trial on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews; Enterprise pricing comes through a demo.

Profound listed $99 and $399 self-serve plans until mid-September 2026. See Profound alternatives for what changed.

How to choose

Work out the cost per tracked answer

Prompts times engines times checks per month gives the number of answers you are paying for. Peec Starter is 50 prompts on 3 models daily, about 4,500 answers for $95. Otterly Lite is 15 prompts on 4 engines daily, about 1,800 answers for $29. Bottally is 30 questions on 4 engines weekly, about 500 answers for $99, with the articles included. None of these numbers is the whole story, but they stop you comparing a 15-prompt plan with a 350-prompt one.

Pick engines before plans

If your buyers search Google, AI Overviews and AI Mode matter most, because they sit on the results page itself. If they use ChatGPT or Perplexity, check those are in the base plan rather than an add-on. Tracking six engines you do not need is money spent on noise.

Decide whether you need a fixer

Every tool here can tell you that a competitor is named where you are not. Fewer will write and publish the page that changes it. If nobody on your team will, a tracker becomes a monthly report of the same gaps. Our guide to ranking in ChatGPT covers what that work involves, and the best GEO tools roundup covers more trackers.

Leave room to grow

Check what the next tier costs, whether prompts or credits roll over, and whether more projects, countries or seats cost extra. Peec includes unlimited users on every plan, with multi-country tracking from Advanced; others meter seats, brands or credits instead.

See which answers you are missing

The AI visibility checker puts your buyer questions to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. It shows if you are named or cited, and who is named instead. When you want those gaps worked on every day, Bottally Pro is $99 a month.
